"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." Marcus Aurelius

Faith is not required

The movement of the body is always towards homeostasis and wellness. Everything the body and mind does is an attempt to keep us safe and well for the longest time. Even pain and discomfort can be seen as a signal drawing our attention to dysfunction and prompting us to take action.

Faith in a method of treatment is not required when your experience of it provides direct knowledge of the benefits for you. The majority of clients describe and report  changes of benefit to them . It may be that only the body heals – just not the body alone. The practitioner’s  role is to engage and support the body’s capacity to repair. In particular, I  share knowledge with you so that you are better able to look after yourself with confidence.

Both conventional medicine and complementary medicine aims to support the conditions for healthy living. Each system has its successes and its weak points. Marrying the two with respect and temperance is the way the medicine of the future is likely to work best. Traditional healing methods and knowledge have delivered the human species into the fold of modern medicine -and the best of old and new complementary medicine.

To get the best of both worlds as modern consumers, it is necessary to keep seeking knowledge about what works and how well and how safely. The next step for human health care is to appreciate truly that physical well-being is inseparable from how we think and feel, how we live and even the fate of other people.

Good health has certain foundations that are a given. These may include more general features such as sanitation, clean water and air, healthy food and sound shelter. In particular, and supported by early childhood studies, the simple corny truth is that the body lives on love- love, in its myriad radiant forms.

The ethos of Suite Marigold is to offer a space and a context that is welcoming, respectful, down to earth (despite a love of the esoteric!) and conscientious in your interest. The intention is to provide effective resources for you to resolve or manage  health problems with grace and confidence.  I am satisfied if I see clients leave a session feeling better and stronger and cared for -whether they were seeking relief from suffering or support for achieving excellence in their chosen fields.

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
